Share poems about brothers and sisters, such as "Moochie" in Honey I Love by Eloise Greenfield, or "The Little Sister Store" and "My Baby Brother" in Fathers, Mothers, Sisters, and Brothers by Mary Ann Hoberman.

All children have times when they don't get along, as well as times of being inseparable. Use this activity to explore these dynamics with your kids.
- Discuss: Ask your children to think of a good time they've had with a sibling, cousin, or friend, and to pantomime how they felt. Ask them to think of a bad time, and to show how they felt then.
- Write and illustrate: Have children complete these sentences with their own ideas:
I am happy when my [sister] _________
I am angry when my [cousin] _________
Write their sentences on paper, leaving room for the kids to add illustrations.
